The versatility of the Touareg is in part thanks to the development in the architecture of its knobs, where smaller and more compact blocks contribute to comfort and performance on both rough terrain and smooth tarmac.

The 127 TPI casing provides a flexible and light construction for high rolling performance. Hutchinson’s Hardskin textile grid reinforcement offers additional protection against sharp stones, rocks, and other hostile material found on rough gravel terrain.
